keel guard question

Hey Guys,
Need some advice. Have a 22' CC deep v. Want to install keel guard. The keel rest on a v support and because of this the manufacturer says keel guard will peel off after time. I have actually been wanting to put a roller in place of the support I have now. Being that my boat sits for a month at a time do you think that the keel guard will stay in place. Any help is greatly appreciated.

any long term contact will deform the keel guard and it will come off.. i personally dont like them.

First I'd upgrade the trailer bunks to one of those that has forward and aft bunks w/ no rollers or any other "hard" points touching your hull. I THINK that most trailers can be upgraded.

Secondly, if you REALLY, REALLY want a keel guard then go to Line-X or RhinoLiner place and have them apply a spray on strip along the keel. They can pretty much match whatever color you want and there are different textures - you can get the slickest one they have.

Of course, this is just my opinion...
