Can outriggers be mounted on a canvas T-top?

Thinking about upgrading some parts of my boat when I get home from this deployment and I was trying to find out if T-top outriggers can be mounted when the T-top is canvas and not fiberglass. Thanks guys.

Yes as long as you have a aluminum frame. What kind of boat do you have?

As Gene said, yes you can Logan. You saw mine and I have a Canvas Top.

Thanks Dave. I have a 2005 Robalo R230 with a canvas T-top. What kind of budget am I looking at for metal outriggers?

First you need to look at your framing. Some t-top already have the mounts installed on the frame. But if it does not then you are looking at having a cross bar welded on,or you can buy one and clamp it on. A set of 16' outriggers cost around 200 and a good set of clips,rollers and some rigging line another 150 then add around 400 for a set of rigger holders. When you get back and if you still want to install them give me a call and I will be happy to help you rig them at no charge.

Awesome. Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely be in touch when the time comes. I'm hoping to have them done by the end of July to be ready for when the fall trolling heats up!
