    The Costa Concordia is Afloat...

    Has anyone been following the Raising of The Costa Concordia???

    It looks like something Old Flathead threw together.....................She Floats...

    Dennis I was watching most of the Live Feed yesterday, Pretty neat.. I know around 9 last night she was upright,and sitting on the platforms they made for her..

    That was quite an accomplishment. But salvage costs of $799 million??? Wonder what the ship is worth as scrap and salvage???

    I thought they were going to rebuild it, but from what I understand it going to be dismantled and scrapped.

    Handle every stressful situation like a dog. If you can't eat it or play with it, just piss on it and walk away!

    Well I would Hope It,s worth a Hell of alot More than $799 million or Someone is Going too be Very Pissed Off!!! Just a Thought!!!!

    I think it was considered a "Black Eye" to the area where it ended up.... It was probably an obligation of the owners to remove it...

    Hell ya Think Dennis it,s more like an Embarrassment having a Capt of a Ship that Large with so many People On Board, coming that close to shore just so some passanger could wave at their friends!! atleast thats what I heard the final out come was,, Didn,t they get him for being Drunk!!! That Ship should have NEVER been that close to shore!!! For any Reason!!

    Wonder how much it weighs? Its 952' long It prolly weighs 200,000 tons....thats a bunch of steel.
