Here is the progression of my BGE table from tree to finished product. Anyone can go buy a table but even though I know there are small flaws in the table, it is built right and will last to be handed down to my grandkids!!!! It's great knowing I had a part in the cutting of the tree all the way to finish. I also used basic tools, like a skill saw and a wierd type of jigsaw so no fancy chop saws or routers or anything like that. I built it all w/ cedar if you can't tell...There are some pressure treated 2x4's (from Lowes)fer some strength bracing where it is not visible. I used almost 2 boxes of of exterior screws (counter sunk EVERY screw), and a gallon of Thompsons Water Proofing. Most folks that build a table use a stepping stone under the egg but the measurements were SO exact this was not needed, only the feet BGE gives you w/ the egg. I also cut the hole w/ not much to spare so it's groovy... The lid opens like it should and does not touch so it's GREAT!!! She is now ready fer a good cooking!!! I'm not sure if the pics are going to load correctly (can't see how they are loading fer some reason.....they all line up and aren't pic visable). Enjoy the pics anyways...

That thing looks great, great story behind it too. Not too many people can take credit for the raw materials to the finished product like that. I bet it smells pretty good too.
OK, I figured part of it out....I don't have to hit enter after every pic like when I post at PFF....but they are outta sync.....?????
