    Flounder Gigging

    When do most people start gigging flounder?

    Do you stick to areas closer to the pass early in the season?

    I personally have always waited for the Migration into the Gulf for Spawning which normally start's in OCT- NOV but that's just me and My DAD rest his soul!! anyways you can start now BC they have been making their Way Back Into the Shallows But we always seemed to be able to Gig More in the cooler Month's and were Bigger and yes we where Normally closer to Pensacola Pass out side of SCM, Sand island, Johnson Beach, and Pickens beach were always good Place's Hope this May Help you Some, Cliff love's to Gig them also He should give you His 2 when he see's This Have fun whatever you Do!!!!

    Thanks Redfish. Don't know much about it but like the idea of being on the water at night when there is less boat traffic and things are more peaceful.
